Saturday 14th October
Welcome Dinner @7.30pm
All family and friends travelling to Queensland are invited to join us for dinner and drinks at a local beachfront restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you all to tropical Mission Beach.
Sunday 15th October
Optional Day Trip to the Reef
As one of the seven wonders of the natural world, a trip to the Great Barrier Reef is highly recommended when visiting Far North Queensland.
We have arranged a private charter for the day and our friends at Mission Dive have kindly offered our guests a discounted rate of $185 per adult.

The price includes, elevensies, full buffet lunch on board, hire of snorkel equipment and full safety briefing.
Evening
Bachelor and Bachelorette parties to take place locally.

Monday 16th October
Zero plans! If lazy days are not your ‘cup of tea’, please scroll down and check out our local recommendations. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, including skydiving, white water rafting, hidden creeks and waterfalls, islands and rainforest walks – we have heaps of local knowledge and would be so happy to assist with your planning!

Dress code: Smart
The bride and groom will be barefoot and the groom will be in smart shorts and a short sleeve collared shirt
Jackets and ties are not required (nor recommended in the tropics!)
Please no singlets or board shorts!

Farewell Brunch, BBQ & Beers
We would love for everyone to join us from 12pm on the beautiful Mission Beach.
We’ll play games, eat, drink and all say our farewells!
Our Story
Our Story begins in 2015, in Mission Beach.
We met one evening at a local bar, the same beach front business, we would later come to run ourselves.
Mission Beach is the first place we made a home together and will forever hold a special place in both our hearts.
Since we left this small town in 2017 our life has been filled with more adventure and we’ve made more memories than many will experience in a lifetime.
We’ve travelled three continents, owned three ‘homes’ (on wheels) before settling in Yorkshire.
We returned Down Under for Christmas 2022 and to Jo’s delight, Rich finally proposed, on the beautiful beach, where it all started.
We couldn’t think of a more fitting place to say ‘I Do’ and we can’t wait to share this little piece of paradise with all our family and friends.
